maxresdefault (1).jpg

This week we talk to Daniel Haqiqatjou from the United States to discuss Islamophobia and the Muslim response to it and the challenge of liberalism. Daniel is a Muslim academic and founder of the US-based Alasna institute. He writes at Muslimskeptic.com and his thoughts are featured in a number of media outlets such as The Washington Post, The Atlantic, CNN, Aljazeera, Public Discourse and Mashable.

He is a speaker for the Muslim Debate Initiative, where you may find many links to lectures he has given over the years.  He studied physics as an undergraduate at Harvard University and completed graduate studies in philosophy, studying with some of the top physicists and philosophers in the world.

His study of philosophy has, he argued, enabled him to get an insight into the liberal mindset and consolidated his view that Liberalism is at odds with Islam and that liberal society looks to challenge and change Islam.
